The following resources may be helpful to those with housing needs in Montgomery County. It is not intendedto be a complete listing, but to serve as a guide for those in need. Please also contact any local office for Aging and Adult Services should require further information or referral regarding individual housing concerns.
In addition to the link above there is limited funding for motel vouchers through Aging and Adult Services. These vouchers are available only for emergency situation when the shelter beds are full throughout the county.
CODE BLUE (Winter Emergencies) and CODE RED (Summer Emergencies):
The Code Blue and the Code Red Plans become effective within Montgomery County during extreme weather conditions. Shelters remain open and expand the number of beds available during a declared emergency. For further information, contact the Montgomery County Office of Aging and Adult Services or the Montgomery County Department of Health through any of their offices.
